This painting shows an area of the artists traditional country in the east Kimberley region of northern Australia. Flowing through the centre of the painting is the Keep River flowing through an area called Jinamoom joined by the smaller tributaries of the "wet season flood time". On th eright are the billabongs called Wirrdlboom. There are lots of bush tucker and water lilies in this area. The small hill shapes are the ant pits - good bush medicine. Surrounding this area of country is the ridges and hills of Goodim.
