Nguritja is a small lake north of Patjarr, near Mina Mina soakage. There are a lot of rabbits living there. Mingari tali is the name of a large steep sandhill nearby where Thorny Devil lizards live. Two men, one Karimarra (Jarkamarra) and one Purungu (Japangardi), chased the Thorny Devil (Karimarra) down a big hole which she was digging to lay her eggs. The men squashed the earth over the hole and killed her. The Thorny Devil womans belly burst open underground and all the babies died.
