This is my country, around Texas, where I was born.  When we go around this country we call it Ngarrgooroon Hills.  Nodea worked and grew up at Texas Downs Station, not far from the Warmun Community.  To the northwest of the station is the Ord River.  This is still an important place to Nodea.  She and her countrymen from Texas Station often go to their country on the weekends to fish for black bream and catfish.
