Wati kutjara, minyma kutjara nyinanyi (two men and two women are sitting). Kangkuru malanypa Nyapari Tjukurpa (this is Nyapari story of the big sister and the younger sister). The man is called Nyulu.  He's not really a man, but a wanampi (watersnake).

There are two brothers married to two sisters.  The men are always sitting around having inma (ceremonies) and the women get angry that they are always working hard getting all the food.  The women, the eldest is called Wanyinta and the younger Alartjatjarra, go further and further away in search of food.  They headed to Pilki, kapi pulka (a big rock hole) for honey ants.  They were digging for kuka mitika (burrowing bettong).  Irititja kuka (food from the early days).

Wati kutjara nyinanyi (two men are sitting). Kunkunpa (sleeping). They were painting inside the cave.  When they woke up they were looking for the two women.  The turned into wanampi (watersnakes) to trick the women and hid in the hole they were digging.  There is a lot of story for this place.  Important story.  Piltati rockhole.

This is my husband's country.
